The specialty of Emergency Medicine is a dynamic and evolving specialty with new advancements and newer techniques coming into force everyday even as we speak. We at Peerless Hospital have a mission to take Emergency Medicine to the heights it deserves Carrying Emergency Medicine Forward.

Department of EM at Peerless Hospital (PEM), Kolkata has proven their status among EM community of India. In a city where every EM department is struggling to practice ideal Emergency Medicine, Failing to protect the respect of EM colleagues; PEM is standing out as one tall lighthouse in the sea of darkness. Credit goes to Indraneel Dasgupta, Anish Banerjee and Saptarshi Saha who has fought against all ODDS and has been able to come up with a robust Academic EM Department.

The path of PEM is a lesson to those who believes in ONE MAN EMERGENCY MEDICINE. In 2012 it is good to see them as the largest EM group from EAST. On behalf of MEMIG we wish PEM all success in 2012.
