Medical support is always of paramount importance in such events and thus, only
the best healthcare providers in the country are chosen for the task. Max
Healthcare has been picked up as the medical partner for the event and will
provide complete ambulatory and healthcare support to the participant and
officials for the entire marathon route.
In the words of Dr. Ajay Bakshi, CEO, Max Healthcare, “our organization places tremendous emphasis upon prevention and wellness and thus supporting this marathon is in complete alignment with our value system. Max Healthcare will be providing complete ambulatory and healthcare support to the participants and officials for the entire marathon route.”
It is to be noted that Max Healthcare, a chain of super-speciality hospitals, has taken similar initiatives in the past as well. Previously it was the official health care partner of the Delhi Daredevils team in 2011 and Kings XI Punjab in 2012.
The Medical Director for this event is Dr Anurag Krishna; the Clinical Director and Event Director is Dr Tamorish Kole; Head of Emergency Services of the group. A team of 200 Healthcare professionals are deployed for the same event.
